Nancy D. Cardenas Gonzalez, Ph.D., is the Associate Director of the SEED Scholars Honors ProgramDr. Cardenas holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership and brings over a decade of experience supporting students in higher education.
Her diverse experiences as an instructor, advisor, program coordinator, and researcher have enabled her to implement evidence-based practices that promote the success of students from historically excluded groups. Her work history has specifically focused on improving student retention and fostering their development as future leaders in their respective disciplines.
Passionate about nurturing the next generation of STEM scholars, Dr. Cardenas works closely with the SEED team and campus community to provide holistic support for the personal, academic, and professional development of SEED Scholars, guiding them throughout their undergraduate journeys and into graduate school.
