The SEED Scholars Honors Program: Cultivating Excellence, Building Community.
The SEED Scholars Honors Program is far more than an academic initiative, it is a thriving, purpose-driven community. SEED is a four-year, comprehensive honors program designed to support, elevate, and empower historically excluded and equity-seeking students in the STEM fields.
We welcome all students who are passionate about scientific discovery, committed to research, and driven to pursue graduate education. Through intentional mentorship, academic enrichment, and a supportive cohort model, SEED Scholars are equipped not only to thrive at Berkeley, but to lead and innovate in their future fields.
This transformative journey is supported by a dynamic network of undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff, and program leadership. Together, we are deeply invested in cultivating highly qualified, socially conscious, and intellectually curious STEM professionals who will help shape a more equitable and inclusive future.
